As CSSN has previously reported, dinghies tied or locked to the long low municipal dock on the main waterfront in FDF have suffered acts of mischief and even malicious damage, thought to be caused by youths who use the municipal dock for swimming/diving in the area, usually after school and on the weekends/holidays.

The alternate dock is a concrete wall, and higher (about 2M) but has 3 good stainless ladders that allow access to the concrete apron ashore

Ken Goodings, of S/V Silverheels reports that it is possible to use a nearby dock, located approximately 50 meters to the west that is not currently popular with the youths. The alternate dock is a concrete wall, and higher (about 2M) but has 3 good stainless ladders that allow access to the concrete apron ashore. He suggests you come prepared to use a stern anchor as there is often wake driven swell in this area.
