DETAILS: While the owners were ashore thieves boarded a yacht anchored in Cabrita bay. They stole the A12’ Native Watercraft fishing kayak that was tied down and stored on the coach roof.
Reports were made to the Coast Guard and police.

DETAILS: Overnight, while owners slept on board their in-the-water and chain locked dinghy / 20HP Mercury outboard was stolen.
Another nearby yacht experienced a similar theft the same night (3090).
A police report was made the next day.

STOLEN ITEMS: Dark grey quicksilver dinghy / Tohatsu 6HP engine, fuel tank and 2 stroke engine oil
SECURED: Locked
DETAILS: Overnight while the crew slept onboard, their in-the-water and chain locked dinghy/outboard was stolen. The well prepared thieves smashed/bent the stainless steel locking bar with its heavy lock still in place. The cut painter and damaged locking bar/chain were found dangling behind the yacht. A report was made to the Coast Guard.
A second yacht anchored nearby also had their in-the water and chain locked dinghy/outboard stolen the same night. (3092)

STOLEN ITEMS: Highfield 2.9 dinghy CN-HFM15449EO21 / 20HP Honda outboard BAMJ-1529876
SECURED: Locked
DETAILS: Between 1800-2000HRS a well secured dinghy was stolen from the small dock at the southern end of Cabrita Bay. The thieves were well prepared with a strong cutting tool/disc and cleanly cut the heavy cable. A report was made to the police and coast guard, no forensics were taken.

STOLEN ITEMS: Dinghy with Dream Yacht charter logo,15HP 4S Mercury outboard, Scott Aspect 940 Grey/Orange Mountain Bike, DJI Mavic Air drone, dive gear, camera equipment, tools +++
SECURED: Locked
DETAILS: A catamaran at Royal Marine, Piscadera, Curacao was burgled. The tender and outboard were both raised and well locked to the yacht. The sliding door lock was broken and the interior fully ransacked. The dinghy/outboard and all valuable/easily portable items (mountain bike, drone, dive gear, camera equipment, tools, etc.) were also stolen. The owner reported the incident to the Royal Marine staff onsite who seemed aware of a similar problem occurring to another boat a few nights earlier. The owner will make a police report.
