DETAILS: Between 19 – 25 May a yacht on a mooring near the Coast Guard station in Prickly Bay was vandalized. The hired guardian discovered the companionway padlock had been broken and the interior was rummaged. It did not appear that anything was taken. A report was made to the Coast Guard.

DETAILS: A yacht anchored overnight in Halifax Harbor. When the crew awoke the next morning their in-the-water and not locked dinghy had been stolen, the painter had been cut. They searched on the beach and found the dinghy but the outboard, fuel tank and oars were missing.
A police report was made.

DETAILS: Overnight a dinghy/18HP Tohatsu outboard was stolen from a private dock in Benji Bay. A second dinghy and a fuel tank were also stolen from this dock the same night. The shoreside business located there was burglarized. Police reports were made.
