CSSN News – December 11, 2017 – The World Cruising Club’s (WCC) Caribbean 1500 rally participants have arrived in Nanny Cay, Tortola, BVI !

CSSN welcomes the participants of the 28th edition of the Caribbean 1500 (C-1500). 24 boats departed Portsmouth, VA, USA, bound for the Bahamas or the BVI’s.

Boats ranged from 40-71 feet and the fleet was comprised of seasoned rally participants as well as first timers to our southern waters. Those destined for the BVI were welcomed heartily at Nanny Cay Marina.

Arc Caribbean 1500 – 2017

Keen to assist in recovery efforts and support the rebuilding of the local economy post-Irma/Maria most C-1500 yachts plan to remain in the BVI for the season, with 2 heading south to join the ARC circumnavigation departing Rodney Bay in January, 2018.
