CSSN welcomes the Salty Dawgs, 55 yachts comprised the 7th annual Salty Dawg Rally to the Caribbean. This year’s fleet arrived safely in Falmouth Harbour, Antigua after departing Hampton, Virginia and sailing approximately 1500 miles. The fleet was diverse, with monohulls and catamarans from 40 to 70 feet, and crews of 2 to 5. Due to light winds and variable conditions arrivals were spread over an 11 day period. This year’s group includes seasoned veterans of the rally and the Caribbean as well as first timers, experiencing Caribbean cruising for the first time. Many will venture onward or remain in the Caribbean, with others returning to the US with the Salty Dawg Spring Rally, departing for the US from Antigua in May 2018.
