DETAILS: A monohull was boarded in the early hours of the morning, while 2 persons were asleep onboard. They found the saloon floor soaked in sea water, and cash missing from the top of chart table. No other items were taken. A police report was made.

CSSN NOTE: Another yacht in the anchorage also experienced a boarder this same night, but noise was heard and it was interrupted and not successful.

DETAILS: At approximately 2:00am a noise was heard along the hull. The captain found the salon door of the catamaran half open. Upon walking into the aft cockpit a man was found boarding an orange and yellow kayak just under the hoisted tender. The captain confronted the man to ask his business. No reply was heard, when asked again the man said he was fishing as he paddled away. The captain turned on the salon lights and awoke the other crew. Wet footprints were found in the salon and at the top of the stairs leading to each hull where persons were sleeping. A review of the yachts content was conducted with nothing found missing. An iPad, DVD binder, and other small miscellaneous items where on the salon table and untouched. The crew believe the intruder was chased off by the captain immediately after the boarding.

DETAILS: Between 08:00 on Sep 5th and 13:00 on Sep 6th a Nissan 9.8HP outboard and 5 gallon fuel tank were stolen from a dinghy while it was chain locked to the dingy dock outside Covent garden in Tank Bay, English Harbour Antigua. The outboard was secured with a padlock between the two transom clamps . A police report was made.

DETAILS: An unlocked RIB dinghy/outboard was stolen from the Falmouth dinghy dock on the evening of regatta festivities. A thorough search was conducted during daylight the next day, and the dinghy not found. A police report was made by the owner. Several days later, another search of the same area was conducted, and the dinghy (with engine) was recovered, and is being safely held until the owner returns to Antigua.
