DETAILS: An unlocked dinghy/outboard was stolen from Marina du Marin dock 5 between 1800-2000HRS. The owners located the dinghy the next day, tied with several others behind a yacht anchored in the bay. It was “reclaimed” and the anchored yacht departed. No police report was made.

DETAILS: Between 1800HRS Saturday and 0900HRS Sunday thieves who had arrived well prepared with chain cutters stole a RIB dinghy / 5HP Mercury motor from the Anse a L’Ane dinghy dock. A report was made to the police and Coast Guard.

UPDATE: This yacht was located in good condition on the Serrana Bank, approximately 90 miles NE of Isla Providencia, Colombia. CSSN has informed the owner and he is now working with local and Colombian Coast Guards to affect recovery. Indications are that the yacht mooring failed. This incident has been removed from the CSSN database.
