DETAILS: We departed our boat at 1715, and left it fully closed and locked. We returned at 2130 to find the companionway lock broken, and the cabin tossed. Some items were not taken (radios, handheld GPS) but cash, laptops, chargers, cell phones, a large knife and bags of ginger candy were. CG and Police were called and responded promptly. The next day, a dinghy stolen from a nearby dock the same night (see previous report) was recovered, and the same type candy (empty wrapper) that was taken from our boat was found inside.
