DETAILS: Anchored off the town of Malendure, while owners slept onboard their catamaran, thieves lowered and stole the Caribe dinghy/18HP Tohatsu which had been raised on its davits, but not locked to the yacht. A police report was made.

DETAILS: At 2130 hours 2 young men approached cruisers at the ferry dock and attempted to grab a backpack and demanded cash and phones. The cruisers resisted and began yelling and the robbery was abandoned. A police report was made.

DETAILS: Witnesses saw 2 thieves cut the padlock of a dinghy locked to the dinghy dock. They abandoned the dinghy on Pointe À la Verdure beach after running out of fuel, and breaking the crank cord. The gendarmes were informed and assisted in the recovery and return of the dinghy.

DETAILS: At 0400 HRS four(4) thieves entered the marina, the first by climbing the card controlled gate, and then admitting his three(3) compatriots. They then stole 4 folding bicycles that were locked on the pontoons near the two (2) yachts they belonged to. The hoodie wearing thieves then exited with the stolen bikes thru the marina gate. The marina provided surveillance video and a report was made to the coastguard and the police.
