Local media puts “Searchlight” on persistent problems in Canouan

Searchlight, the SVG based news service provider, interviewed SVG Police Commissioner Michael Charles for his perspective on this issue. Kenara Woods, a reporter for the Kingstown, Searchlight (after receiving CSSN NEWS summaries from Caribbean Compass editor, Sally Erdle) reports that PC Charles acknowledged awareness of the persistent problems of crime against yachts in Canouan.

Woods reports Commission Charles said,  “In fact, I have been in receipt of some emails of yacht break ins in Canouan, but I have not had a chance to deal with that yet because I am dealing with something really urgent,”… Woods went on to report that the commissioner reiterated that he will respond in time.
