
Local News source MTV NEWS Grenada reports that multiple charges have been filed against the two men believed to be the Primary Perpetrator (PP) Toobooi Timothy Williams, and the Second Perpetrator (2P) Irvin Thomas. The two are charged with multiple offenses carried out across the island. Both men were jointly charged for offences which occurred in St. David, St. George and St. John. Initial charges included one count of rape, one count of housebreaking and stealing, ten counts of robbery with violence, two counts of housebreaking, three counts of stealing and one count of kidnapping.
Additionally charges of damage to property, causing harm, threatening language, escaping lawful custody and assault with a dangerous instrument were preferred against Williams. Williams and Thomas appeared at the St. George’s Magistrate Court on Wednesday 10th August, 2016 and have been remanded to Richmond Hill Prison. They will appear at St. David’s Magistrate’s Court on August 22nd, 2016; make another appearance at St. George’s Magistrate’s Court on August 28th, 2016; and at Gouyave Magistrate’s Court on August 30 th , 2016. The Police investigations continue.
